A new movie with new faces is currently in the making. ‘Velvi’, is being directed by Jeans( believe it, thats his name!) and has a host of new faces making their debuts. The film produced by Fourth Dimension Academy has debutants Vishwa and Haashini are in the lead roles.
Debut Director Jeans is a US based Software Engineer who changed tracks to Film Direction. Its destination Kollywood for him after completing his Direction course there.. Keeping up with his passion, he has a couple of Short films to his credit, before venturing into ‘Velvi’.
‘Velvi’ sports a socially relevant theme on Women Emancipation and Equality . Interestingly,the character of the film’s protagonist is inspired by thulasi leaf, a symbol of purity. Speaking about the film director said that, it is a deep romantic entertainer and the characters will remind us of the intensity that you find in Balachander’s films.
The cast also has Kadhal Sugkumar, Akilan, Sethu Vinayagam, Pandu and Mandan Bob. Cinematography is by Kichhas and Velvi’s Music is by J K Selva.
