Kamalinee’s re-entry after a decade

March - 25 - 2008

Actress Kamalinee Mukherjee earned a special name for herself in the Telugu film industry with her successful films Anand and Godavari. Though a Northerly figure, she is widely appreciated for bringing in the Telugu nativity. Despite this, the commercial image is still eluding her. Never minding this, the young girl cherishes a strong ambition to become a director. Of course, a heroine becoming a director is the rarest phenomenon.

We have only two known cases in Telugu – Vijaya Nirmala and Jeevita. Kamalinee spends a good amount of time on penning some lyrics. The same moods she likes to transform into a pucca script fit for a movie. “Certainly, I will do this. It might take a decade or more. By that time, I would have married and with kids. I would also be free from household pressures.” A very long wait, indeed!
