Rakhi Sawant is finally getting noticed by the big banners and is wasting no time in making the most of it. After her item song in Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4, she is all set to make an appearance in Vikram Bhatt’s 1920.
Rakhi says she owes a lot to Krazzy 4 and her association with Rakesh Roshan. On doing an item number in a horror flick like 1920, Rakhi replies in her trademark style, “1920 is a dark thriller with me as the only colorful thing in it”. Rakhi’s look is reportedly inspired by the period in which the film is set and is expected to be a break from what she has generally done.
The song is called Bichhua and has been composed by Adnan Sami. Interestingly, none other than vocalist Shubha Mudgal will be lending her voice to the number.
Director Vikram Bhatt seems to be totally bowled over by Sawant. “There is no one better than Rakhi when it comes to item songs. People who have seen her dancing in modern get-ups will see her in a yesteryear avatar,” Bhatt said.
