Puneet Rajkumar’s next film, initially titled Poli, is to undergo a change as it means ‘Casanova”. The movie title has since been changed to Raj. Prem, ‘the hat trick” director is directing this film.
Gaja producers Suresh Gowda and Srinivasamurthy announced the change in title during the media meet organised for the 50th day of Gaja on Monday evening. Music is by V. Harikrishna.
The title ‘Raj’ suits Puneet Rajkumar, keeping in mind his track record at the box office, for movies like Appu, Namma Basava, Arasu, Akash, Milana have completed 100 days and Bindaas, his ninth release, is on the way to the 100 day record.
Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar, Puneet Rajkumar”s mother, had initially opposed the Poli title at the audio release of Omme Nodidhe. Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar also stated that English titles for Kannada films should be avoided.
