Dhanush and director Vettrimaran who together spunned an off beat yet entertaining action flick in Pollaadhavan, raked in the big bucks and the best reviews. It was quite an unexpected success that has done oodles of good for Dhanush and the debutante director that the two were teaming up again is stale news. Ever since Pollaadhavan made a bang, we all knew we’d see another movie from the duo. Whether they will be lucky the second time, only time has to nod.
The director and his hero were on the look out for a good producer for their next project. Unlike the many rejections Pollaadhavan saw, their unnamed new project has many takers. It was just a matter of choosing the best. And now looks like even that has been settled. Dhanush’s next movie with Vettrimaran will be produced by Group Company who earlier produced Pollaadhavan.
