Director Hari, is one of the most successful commercial directors in recent times,started off with the realistic Thamizh, Hari later branched out to mainstream filmmaking with Saami, Koyil, Arul, Aayya, Aaru, Thamirabarani and the recent superhit Vel.
Almost all of Hari’s trademarks have been commercially viable. Hence his films are always hot property among the distributors.
Currently, Hari is busy finishing his script for Seval, his next project with Bharath in the lead role. Poonam Bhajwa, heroine of Jeeva’s Thenavettu, plays the female lead.
Hari has worked with Yuvanshankar Raja for his previous two projects. Now, the director has roped in another hot property, G.V. Prakash Kumar, to compose tunes for Seval. G.V. Prakash, nephew of A.R. Rahman, is currently the toast of Kollywood is floating on cloud nine having bagged the prestigious Rajni’s next film Kuselan, has also replaced Yuvan in Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan and has more than half a dozen films in hand.
