Chemeen, Mallywood’s biggest ever historical collection which set a classic touch in every Keralites, is remembered even today setting a mile stone in the kerala film industry in the early 60’s.
The chemistry between the lead pair Madhu and Sheela is recreating magical come-back after a gap of 45 years to blaze the silver screen which the duo already proved in their earlier film Chemeen. The movie titled ‘Perumal’ directed by Prasad Valancheril will feature the senior actors again in the same roles in which they be sharing their screen space related to today’s generation.
The movie which is planned to start next month at Kottayam will also feature Jagathy, Babu Antony and Lal, in prominent roles. The details about the storylines and other lead casts are awaited.
Even though the movie has been officially announced, it will be a tough task for the creators to bring in Sheela for the movie on the said dates as she is presently at U.S.
The last time the 75 year old actor and 63 year old actress were seen together for the movie ‘Thaskaraveeran’, in which Mammootty donned the title character.
