Is Lawrence ignorant about Tollywood?

April - 2 - 2008

Vigrous Chreographer-turned-director Lawrence Raghavendra, held the attention of youngsters showing his right direction in his maiden venture ‘Mass’ which brought a fresh feel among the film buffs that made the director fetch an award to his classic work.

Off late, the termed mass director has constantly been fading from the tollywood lime-light ever since his last released film failed to set a fire at the box-office. When ‘Don’ was in the making, Lawrence Raghava was making headlines everywhere. Almost every other day, there were some hitting news about  him and the film.

So irritated were everybody with this blatant publicity that they curiously waited to let the film do the talking. Inspite of Nagarjuna and his stylish performance, the film bombed badly at the box office.

He has now shifted base to Tamilnadu and is busy witha film starring him in the lead role. This has given his detractors an excellent chance to rub his name in dirt. Tabloids make waves saying, film has flopped instead of accepting the blame like a professional, he has run away to Kollywood and is waiting to return to Telugu after the industry forgets the fiasco.

Nagarjuna had  beared the brunt of the disaster and the too producer isn’t happy with the money that he had lost either.

So, someday, when Lawrence decides to return to Tollywood, ‘Will he have lot of past mistakes to catch up with?’
