Sundar C is one of the successful directors in Tamil cinema. From a busy director, he managed to establish himself as a successful actor.
Following it up with two runaway hits like Thalainagaram and Veeraappu, his much recent released film Sandai, showed all the positive response by hitting the bulls eye at box-office scoring all the requirements like a typical mass film.
On the whole, targeted for the B and C centers, Sandai is reportedly pulling reasonable crowd to the theatres in A centers as well in the second week of its release. His earlier ventures Thalainagaram and Veerappu planted a firm smile across the distributors elevating his status from a director to a minimum guarantee actor. The director-turned star is enjoying the newfound stardom as a mass hero and only grabs the role that suit him.
