The truant played by Karnataka division of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, has wrecked the Tamil cinedom blown to ashes by causing ravages in their stubborn act from removing South films from the cinema halls and burning their effigies.
This morning (April 4th) 2008, entire stalwarts protested for hunger strike at Chepauk stadium stating against miffs on Tamil establishments and theatres screening Tamil films in neighboring Karnataka.
According to spokesman, Tamil cinema biggies like Kamal Hassan and Vijaykanth who are currently shooting overseas, will fly down and participate in the hunger protest followed by other colleagues like Arjun, Ajith and Vijay cancelling their shoots too will extend their hand to remain a part of the show.
As per the dark day faced by all the shooting stars, no screening of morning and noon shows will be aired in theatres throughout the State on Friday and all the shootings too will be called off. Even, Dhanush’s just released film ‘Yaradi Nee Mohini’ will hit the screens only at 6 pm on Friday April 4 2008 at every screens.
Now, the stern steps are taking all its possibilities to suspend Karnataka division of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce from its Chamber till the problems related to screening of Tamil films and attack on the cinema halls in Karnataka is resolved.
