Vedha – Romance in difference

Wow! Arun Vijay can now take delight for his stupendous performance in Vedha and Director Nithya Kumar has the credit for it. A wonderful flick based on romance is filled with action and suspense that will hold the audiences tightened to their seats right throughout. The film centers on a gripping conflict that prevails between family relations and love affair. Of course, Director Nithya Kumar has depicted these aspects in equal propositions and for sure no one is gonna say even a particular scene that is irksome.

Much before analyzing the film’s attributes. Let’s glimpse through the synopsis of Vedha. It is a film that has a protagonist named Vijay (Arun Vijay) who does everything for his younger brother Vadhan (Jerovadhan). Nothing stops him from making his brother winning in each and every deed he encounters with. For illustration, you’ll see Vijay bribing the athletes to give up their skills in running race to see that his brother wins. Also he smashes a gang of thugs to make Vadhan win the chairman election in college.

Well, their unbounded affection does has an adverse impact when Vadhan wants to marry Vijay’s girlfriend Vedha (Sheela). However, Vijay keeps up his notion of getting acceptance from Sheela to marry his brother by emotional blackmailing. But things are completely grappling when a dark suspense is spotted under light.

Playing with emotional aspects, Director Nithya Kumar melts down your heart especially for buddies who are in love. As a center of foreshadowing, the director clearly makes it clear that it’s all about the younger brother in the family who cannot accept even a small defeat.

With first half carried on with melodramatic aspect, the second half picks the pace with unexpected twists and turns. When it comes to a romance and emotion, Director Nithya Kumar wins the accolades with his noteworthy dialogues.

As of actress Sheela, she seems to have improved a lot in terms of her performance with lots of maturity. Her enunciation of dialogues picks up your attention. Seetha, though posed on the stereotypical role of a single mother has lots to perform when it comes to emotional sequences.

Don’t forget Arun Vijay. Proving himself as an excellent actor, he surpasses with stunts and performance, especially during climax sequence.

When it is Srikanth Deva scoring music for a film, we are sure it would be a safety measure if you carry couple of cotton buds for your ears. Nothing can stop him delivering songs and background score with excess of loudness. Well, couple of songs ‘Rasikkum Seemaaney’ and ‘Ninaithathu Pothum’ is soothing and feet-tapping.

On the whole, valuating the film, Vedha is a movie that happens to be showroom for Arun Vijay to showcase his talents to the uttermost extent. Despites a good presentation, lack of finesse in focusing on central subject makes Vedha a bit away from digging the gold.
