Time For David Hasselhoff And Ex-Wife To Split Assets

April - 18 - 2008

The tragic and highly publicized split between actor David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach was reduced to a tedious agreement regarding financial matters and the former couple’s assets.

According to new legal papers filed Thursday in a Los Angeles court, Hasselhoff agreed to pay his estranged wife $21,000 a month in spousal support and another $4,000 for their daughters, 17-year-old Taylor and 15-year-old Hayley.

Hasselhoff was also ordered to hand over some of his belongings to his ex-wife, including the couple’s 1960 Mercedes-Benz and 1999 Lincoln Navigator, as well as Bach’s mother’s paintings and miscellaneous furniture, the actress was also awarded 50 percent ownership of the couple’s almost $1 million California home.

Additionally, the 55-year-old former “Baywatch” star gets to keep his nickname and famous catchphrase “Don’t Hassle the Hoff” as well as a 2006 Mercedes-Benz, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and “all intellectual property rights” related to his book, “Making Waves.”

Hasselhoff and Bach separated in 2005, announcing their split early in 2006 after being married for over 16 years. Although they were soon officially divorced, the two continued their legal battle over their two teenage daughters, leading to Hasselhoff winning full custody of the kids. Eventually, as the relationship between the two progressed, they are set to share joint custody and agreed that “neither party shall unduly pressure the children to spend time with him or her.”
