NFDC to welcome OM Puri as new chairman

The very prestigious National Film Development Corporation Ltd (NFDC), which is also the fundamental agency established to encourage & promote “Cinemas Of India’ – both on a National and International level, is all set to welcome aboard its new Chairman, the veteran actor, Om Puri.

The announcement of this will happen tomorrow April 23, 2008, when the prominent luminaries from the past repertoire of NFDC, as well as many co-producers of the forthcoming films of NFDC i.e. Lucky Red Seeds, As The River Flows, White Elephant & Via Darjeeling will come together. This will be followed by exclusive Audio-Visual promos of the forthcoming unreleased films.

The newly to-be-appointed Chairman Om Puri, along with Nina Gupta, the present Managing Director- NFDC, will be sharing the future plans and growth prospects of NFDC’s role in promoting Significant and Content Cinema in India.

What else can we say…Simply Rock On Om Puri saab!
