King of Bhangra, Daler Mehndi has flown down south to liaise with the King – Rajinikanth. The singer is allegedly singing a song titled Perinba Pechukaran for Rajinida’s upcoming film Kuselan. Interestingly enough, Daler has also sung the Telugu version of the song as well.
“I have received a number of offers from the South but had not been able to find a good starcast. So this time when GV Prakash said that I would be singing for Rajinikanth I instantly said yes.” Said Daler to Bombay Times.
The singer is absolutely overwhelmed by the opportunity given to him. “I made my Bollywood entry with superstar Amitabh Bachchan and now my Tamil entry with Rajinikanth, another superstar.” He went on to say. “It’s all God’s blessing.”
The music for Kuselan has been composed by GV Prakash, AR Rahman’s nephew and former assistant.
