Arai En 305il Kadavul – Enjoy as you watch

Humans aren’t basically bad in nature, but the very depressing poverty that lets them dipped in merciless deeds, even cheating a God. ‘Comedy is the outburst of anger’ and you have got to believe this. Few things may be harder in life when we experience them at present and later on you may laugh looking back at the same thing. Yup! Simbhu Devan seems to have undergone enormous problems in his struggling stage of life and has tried depicting them in a humorous way.

Unemployed youngsters in Chennai are in rage against the society and at a complicated stage, they became more vexed with the God who created them. And now you have the same God appearing before them to clear their sorrows.

Hold on! Have we earlier watched similar kind of flick where God appears before a man sorting out all his problems? Uh-huh, I got it. Bruce Almighty featuring Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman, of course, had the same storyline. Over here, you have Jim Carrey working in a Television Channel in United States and has the bad credits falling on him all the time. At the peak, to unable control his frustration, he starts off with his Blasphemous words yelling at God. And now, the creator descends onto the earth to find out what is actually wrong with this chap.

Well, for those who watched both the films, we are sure you would do the same act of yelling why these auteurs don’t have their own ideas. However, our directors rock in conveying social messages and blending this with a copy-cat work they have something entertaining for the audiences.

Raasu (Santhanam) and Mokka (Ganja Karuppu) suffer a lot being unemployed youngsters in the town of Madaveli. Their aren’t even able to pay off their monthly rental, food and tea they drink. It’s a pathetic situation when their mansion owner (M.S. Bhaskar) ought to chase them out for not paying their rents. More annoyed and frustrated, these buddies start yelling at God for making them glued to so many problems.

But they have to soon repent for it as God (Prakash Raj) appears before them and promising to sort out their problems. God’s power is all the with the small galaxy-like object with which he has the entire universe under his control. Sooner, it’s a complicated situation when both Raasu and Mokka chisel God by stealing the galaxy. Well, God makes everyone believe that his name is Arnold and leads a normal life as a lay person since he has lost the power. Now Raasu and Mokka have ends in experimenting with the power they have acquired and soon have to feel for it..

Simbhudevan’s director cut is more evident with the dialogues he has penned. The comedic lines blended with social messages win the audiences’ attention and has failed a bit in maintaining the pace in screenplay during second half. As of performance, there is nothing to blame on the part of entire cast and Prakash Raj with his usual stuff has it all big. Santhanam seems to have worked a lot when it comes to body language and uttering of dialogues. Well, Ganja Karuppu’s USP is his way of pronouncing English terms and that wins him the accolades.

Vidhyasagar has nothing special with his musical score and that goes well with his background scoring. If you were more fascinated with his background score for Mozhi and some of his prior flicks, this is a great disappointment for you all.

As a whole, the film on the part of delivering good social message with lots of entertainment is a great fiesta for all the centres. So, enter the theatres with lots of popcorns and cool drinks, but not with expectations and keep yourselves enjoying right throughout 150mins.
