The part 2 of ‘Sarkar’ is ‘Sarkar Raj.’ Ram Gopal Varma made ‘Sarkar’ that is loosely based on Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘Godfather.’ It was his last hit film. Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan played father and son in the film.
‘Sarkar Raj’ is getting released next month. Not only the 2 Bachchans but the new entry into their family, Aishwarya Rai is also part of the cast. Though Varma’s last film ‘Aag’ was a super flop, there is a lot of expectation for ‘Sarkar Raj.’
Now there’s trouble brewing as the co-producer of the film has borrowed 2 crores for his earlier film that he has still not returned and a case has been filed against him.
The lender has asked the court that the film be released only after his dues have been paid up. So, the release of ‘Sarkar Raj’ is hanging in the balance.
