Shriya is all thrilled about her Hollywood venture ‘The Other End of the Life opposite Jesse Metcalfe’.
The hot girl of South India seems to be on a roll after a temporary set back. Post ‘Sivaji’ the glam gal was set to reach new heights and everything was changed when Shriya got into the controversy over her appearance in an item number in Vadivelu starrer ‘Indiralogathil Naa Azhagappan’. She was said to have appeared in the song defying objections from some big weights in the field. It is strongly rumoured that she lost the chance to act with Ajith in ‘Aegan’ just because of her defiance.
The situation, however, is changing for better. Recently she has been signed up for a project featuring Simbu in the lead, with the direction of Sakthi Chidambaram, who has earned profitable income with his hit release Sandai with Sundar C in the lead.
Soon after completing ‘Silambattam’, Simbu would commence the shooting for his long shelved project ‘Kettavan’.
The buzz is that, it would be an action-packed entertainer and efforts are on to convince Shriya to play the lead role opposite Simbhu.
Shriya has cut down her salary to play part of Simbhu film.
