When a girl happens to be as hot as Mallika Sherawat , one wouldn’t mind enduring 99 slaps for just 1 kiss.
Well, that’s going to be the case with actor Ranvir Shorey in the upcoming Pritish Nandy Communications’ film Ugly Aur Pagli , if the film’s promos are to go by.
The movie has Mallika playing a feisty, aggressive, quirky and kinky girl (Pagli) who likes to dominate men. Ranvir Shorey plays a goofy, nerdy and desperate geek (Ugly) who has been studying engineering for a decade and hasn’t had any luck with girls so far.
When these two diametrically opposite personalities get together, the outspoken Pagli dominates the meek Ugly and makes him do crazy things like riding bicycles without seats, running half naked, cavorting around in circles or smacking him 99 tight slaps and then compensating with 1 kiss.
PNC calls ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’ the craziest comedy of this summer.
Ironically, Mallika and Ranvir did not get along very well during the making of the film. At times, Mallika refused to shoot because of the crowds on shooting locations and this attitude of hers peeved Ranvir.
Reports also have it that Mallika is hesitant about promoting this film, though officials at PNC deny this.
