Suresh Gopi and Mukesh are to do the lead roles in Kancheepuraththe Kalyaanam, to be directed by debutantes Fazil and Jayakrishnan.
Produced by Ramesh Kumar under the banner of Nanditha Media Vision, Kancheepuraththe Kalyaanam tells the story of Rajeev Menon and Pattarumadam Najeeb, who run an event management company. The duo travel to Kancheepuram, where they have to organize a wedding ceremony. And there begins a series of interesting events.
Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Saiju Kurup etc form the rest of the cast. While the heroine is yet to be decided, Tamil actor Thyagarajan, who has acted in many Malayalam movies too, will do a key role in the film. Kancheepuraththe Kalyaanam features story by Fazil and Jayakrishnan and script by J.Pallassery, and will be shot in and around Thenkasi.
