Marketing minister M Mareppa fired fresh salvo against Chiranjeevi to come out clean on the blood bank issue and called him a drunkard. He took a dig at the actor’s political entry and his inability to settle family issues and questioned his credibility in raising the issue of corruption.

He cited that politics is not as easy as films and added that NTR had charisma which the actor lacked. He also came down heavily on the violent activities of his fans even before he had launched a political party. The Dalit organizations threatened to file complaints against Chiranjeevi’s fans for burning the effigies of the minister.
