A dissident Congress MP Harirama Jogaiah has said that his fight is against the ‘corruption’ of state Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and not against the Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
Jogaiah has been making statements for several months in support of political plans of Telugu flim superstar Chiranjeevi. The MP dismissed the reports that he was planning to vote against the UPA government in the event of the government’s trust vote in parliament. “I am still in the Congress and I am going to vote in favour of the UPA”, he said. Jogaiah, who is planning to join Chiranjeevi’s party in future, said that the film star’s entry into politics was going to unleash a storm in the state. “His party is going to win 30 Lok Sabha and 200 assembly seats and Chianjeevi is going to become the next chief minister of the state.”
Jogaiah, who represents Narsapur Lok Sabha seat, said that he was going to write a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh against the alleged corruption of the Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy. “I will also file a petition in the Supreme Court on the issue”, he said.
