‘Subramaniapuram’ fame Jai is overjoyous celebrating his victory in tinsel town. After signing his next two yet to see releases ‘Adhey Idam Adhey Neram’ and ‘Aval Peyar Thamizgarasi,’ Jai is all geared up to act in ‘Vaamanan.’
R Ravichandran’s Film Valley Corporation is producing ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ starring Karthi. This will be their second film to be produce don a mega budget and directed by Ahmed, who has trained as assistant under director Kadir. He is responsible for story, screenplay, dialogue and direction.
Chennai model Priya Anand makes her film debut opposite the hero along with Lakshmi rai, who does an important role. Others in the cast include Santhanam, Sampath, Urvashi and many others.
“A young man dreams of becoming a top hero in films. But he has differences of opinion with his parents and the resulting entanglements, form the story,” says Ahmed who has envisioned the film to appeal to all age groups and evolved an action thriller type of screenplay.
Cinematography is by Aravind Krishna, music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The shooting will start this month in Chennai and move on to Coimbatore , Chalakkudy area. Important scenes and songs are to be shot in Singapore , South Africa and New Jersey.
