National Award winning actress Meera Jasmine had got an unofficial ban following her reluctance to act in the AMMA film. However she has bagged few films which has her in best roles. She is the heroine in ‘Anandapurath Veedu’ opposite Nandha in this Tamil flick produced by Shankar. She is playing the lead in ‘Maryadhai’ with Captain Vijaykanth.
She is also playing the lead in the first Kannada film produced by Reliance Entertainments titled ‘Ijodu’. Offbeat filmmaker M S Sathyu is making the film. Meera will play a Devadasi in this film. She has already completed ‘Yamagola’ and another film with Raja Reddy in Telugu. Her another film in Tamil has been named ‘A Aa, E ,Ee’. The film is by Sreenivasa Reddy.
