Jayam fame Sada,is ready to test Bollywood waters with her first release Khallballi – The Fun Unlimited on 28th November.
Well, it is not exactly the actress’s maiden movie. Instead, she signed ‘Dil To Deewana Hai’ quite early, which was supposed to be released in June.
Nevertheless, the south siren, who made it big with the superhit Anniyan , has got other Bollywood flicks lined up. She was waiting for Raja Bundela’s film ‘Dil To Deewana Hai’ (which is now named, ‘Sirf- Love By Chance’) to release but the movie got delayed for unknown reasons.
Sada’s other film includes ‘Love-Khichdi’ with Randeep Hooda , and ‘Click’ opposite Shreyas Talpade . She was likely to work with Ram Gopal Varma for the movie named ‘Leelai’.
The actress has not only done Tamil movies, but also Telugu, Kannada and Malyalam films. She supposedly said no to a big film like Sivaji opposite superstar Rajnikant just to start her career in Bollywood.
‘Khallballi – Fun Unlimited’ is a comedy film directed by Ajay Chandok with bunch of actors incorporated in the film. The star cast includes names likes Chunky Pandey , Suresh Menon , Rajpal Yadav , Vrajesh Hirjee, Asrani Delnaz Paul and Shruthi Seth.
Ajay Chandok is quoted as saying: “Sada fit the bill perfectly. She had to be someone who would stand out in the crowdâ€. Sada plays the love interest of Nikhil Dwivedi in the film.
It is common to see unsuccessful heroines of Bollywood doing movies in south. But the scenario has changed with successful South beauties trying to get foothold in B-Town. Asin has signed big budget films and is waiting for Ghajini release while the charming Genelia D’Souza bagged It’s My Life.
