Ramesh Arvind’s Venkata In Sankata Tour Success

January - 28 - 2009

venkata-in-sankataRamesh Arvind’s promotional tour to Hubli and Mangalore to promote his next film Venkata In Sankata has been a big success. The local media has given a wide coverage to the press conference organised by the Venkata In Sankata unit.   In Mangalore the event had received a big boost because of the presence of the popular Tulu actor Devadas  Kapikad.

In Hubli, Ramesh described  his film as a  fun filled family entertainer. The film’s   audio was released  in a Hotel in Hubli.  Mr. Ramesh said the film was a hilarious comedy revolving around a police constable who dreams of becoming a Commissioner one day.

“However, all his efforts to get a promotion fail as he keeps getting into trouble regularly. Venkata’s best friend, a constable, is also aiming for a promotion. There are several colorful characters to build the plot and leading actors play comic roles that would give a movie-goer a hearty laugh,” he said.

Mr. Ramesh said while he had involved theatre artiste from Hubli, Yashwanth Sardeshpande, in his previous film “Rama Shama Bhama”, this time he had brought in a theatre artiste from Mangalore, Devdas Kapikad.

Leading ladies of the film, Sharmila Mandre, Anusha and Meghana Mudiyam were confident that the film would prove to be a laugh-a-minute affair for the audience.
