Ah! Here’s the most awesome entertainer of the season that you wouldn’t have ever imagined. Indeed, the film exceeds your expectations with the colorful amusements. But you’ve got to know something; this film is a polished version of Tamil Blockbuster ‘Pammal K Sammadam’ with Kamal Haasan in lead roles. But there’s some speciality with Bollywood on one particular panorama and that’s all about ‘Grandiloquently Serving the Best’. The film has the best exceptional aspects including Hollywood Superstars rocking on the screens.
So, what’s the verdict? Trust us and follow one thing! Don’t be too rational and forget the logics. Sit Back relax and enjoy the next couple of hours.
Akshay Kumar who had vividly gone through turmoils with flops of ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ and ‘8×10 Tasveer’ finally gets back to the stands of successful film. What a breathtaking stunts he performs and his emoting towards every situations are mind-boggling. Especially, the humorous pettifoggeries between Akki and Kareena Kapoor do work some magic on the screens.
With ostentation, Viraj Shergill (Akshay Kumar), is the most happening adventurous stuntman in Hollywood. He strongly admits his mantra of woman that ‘Women are only good for two things – Making Love & Making Love’. On the pars, there’s Simirita Rai (Kareena Kapoor), an embodiment of firebrand who doesn’t respect the man and slams them down with her corrosive and sarcastic tone. Well, she strongly trusts “There’s no such thing as loveâ€.
Well, when these two phenomenal characterizations encounter each other at Smiritha’s best friend Kamini’s and Viraj’s brother Lucky’s wedding? Remember this!! It’s a wedding that both Viraj and Simrita are violently opposed to and desperate to stop. Sparks fly, accidents occur, And both are thrown together in the most absurd, hilarious situation until one dramatic twist of fate binds the two together in a manner that they could have never ever even dreamed of in their wildest fantasies. So, are you ready for the battle of the sexes…? Keep waiting to catch who’s going to throw the punches and who is going to blow the kisses?
As mentioned earlier, the cast and crew have spelled the best on their works. Akshay Kumar has been more active and delivered some heart-touching acts during emotional sequences. Kareena Kapoor does work for some best acting and as clichéd, she overreacts in more parts. Better Filmmakers can take a watch and train her for the betterment. Aftab and Amritha Arora have done justice to their roles and nevertheless Amrita showcases her stunning physique that’s stunning more than Kareena Kapoor.
And what else, you’ve the best Hollywood superstars Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards. They add more to the entertaining parts and you’ll keep whistling with applauses for the grandeurs.
Musical score by Anu Malik, Salim Sulaiman are fine and could’ve been better. ‘Om Mangalam Mangalam’ is a commendable piece of work and background score is appreciable on many parts and right throughout the second half, it’s ‘Mangalam Mangalam’ chanting heard all throughout.
Cinematography and editing on well for the finest show and nothing to point out on negative attributes.
On the whole, ‘Kambaqqt Ishq’ deserves a watch if you’re looking out for the best entertaining film for this week. On trade, the film has probabilities to rock in box offices for a month and producers can sway in gleefulness for the abundant collections more than double than they invested.
