Indira vizha – Flimsiest on all vistas
Per chance, K. Rajeshwar would have missed his opportunity of making it big in tinsel town with box office collections. But glimpse through his previous flicks, ‘Vettri Vizha’, ‘Sival Peri Pandi’, and ‘Amaran’ and more off that sort. Just ‘Indiravizha’ haps to be an elision that doesn’t carry substantiality on all panoramas. Really absurd and quite perplexing to witness a grandiloquent filmmaker failing to impress with his trademark and of course you’ll feel the same.
The film is about Santhosh (Srikanth) a smart looking, efficient guy who keeps playing pranks on Savithri (Hema Malini) for his TV Show. Followed by few encounters, he falls for her and indeed Savithri agrees to his proposal. Sooner after the marriage, misery strikes Santhosh as his boss’ (Nasser) wife Kaminey (Namitha) steps into the show. The most appalling is that she’s none other than Santhoshi’s ex-girlfriend. Now, she takes plunge of spoiling the peaceful life of the successful entrepreneur.
Now, he has left no one other than his friend (Vivek), a hilarious dim-witted lawyer. Will he save Santhosh from the clutches of pathetic scenario forms crux of the story…
Aftermath severe flop shows, Srikanth doesn’t let his hopes down for himself. He keeps aiming for big show and yet cannot make it big. He overreacts at certain points and doesn’t choose his roles properly. Hema Malini has nothing to make on her part and Namitha does a performance of mediocre. But getting to watch her on bikinis of bulk-figured physique is the worst thing you can ever experience. Adding to the reliefs is Vivek with his few comedy takes. The hilarious moments are those off his encounters with Y.Gee. Mahendran and Radharavi…. Nasser overreacts throughout the film.
K. Rajeshwar fails to craft a gripping screenplay. If the first half moves with the tale, rest of the flick is all about the court sequences going for the recap of first half. So flimsy on all parts and technical parts isn’t an elision.
None of the musical score is interesting and so does the background score. Unwanted shakes and rapid fast editing distracts us a lot. Even there’s nothing such appreciable parts in choreography of songs.
‘Indiravizha’ isn’t a feast for audiences, but for those who had yearned to watch the maximum skin show of Namitha and a guy rubbing her body right from top-till-the-bottom.
