It’s hard to imagine the clean-shaven Salman Khan in a moustache; after all he is so good looking. When most of the Bollywood actors are sporting stubble to enhance their macho look, the original hunk of Bollywood looks best without any beard or moustache.
However, he wanted to grow a real Indian style moustache for his upcoming film ‘Dabangg’, in which he will play a corrupt, rustic cop from UP. But of late, Sallu has developed certain reservations about the mouche look. He has to start shooting for the film at a stretch from September and is not keen to make public appearances with the moustache; it could also be that his girl friend Katrina Kaif might not like it.
According to Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan, who is also the producer of the film, Salman’s look is still undecided and now it’s all up to him whether he is interested in keeping the moustache to get into the skin of the character or not.
However, as far as the moustache history goes, the Bollywood Khans don’t have a good track record with the mouche on. Take, for instance, Aamir Khan in the dud Mangal Pandey or Shahrukh Khan in the forgettable Paheli. Both flicks failed to click with the audience.
Now, only Salman can sort his moustache dilemma.
