Pre-release expectations:

Will the Diwali biggies make it big?

vettaikaran, aadhavan, peranmaiPerhaps it’s the grand festivity that has possessed the entire city. With a month left ahead for Diwali, the entire town is gearing up to catch the most expected big tickets releasing for the occasion. But, the biggest question is that who’s gonna make it big in box office. Naturally, there’s a clichéd statement that a film’s success is half-known with audio tracks becoming chartbusters. But that doesn’t complete the statement as there probabilities of scenarios transcending gradually after film’s release.

Let’s take a glimpse on Diwali releases and the expectations they’ve made so far across the masses.

Vettaikaran
– maybe, Sun Pictures would throw their strategy of aggressive marketing over the network, but when it’s about critical analysis songs aren’t literally commendable. If Vijay hasn’t tried applying his ideologies for propaganda or any socially relevant issue, then the film has probabilities to make it over charts. But on heeding to songs, nothing seems to have broken the same-pattern of Vijay’s previous films. Well, we aren’t sure about Babu Sivan’s debut attempt, except his working experience with Dharani.

Aadhavan
– Surya’s career graph with continuous successes has raised everyone’s expectation. Indeed, the trio combo Surya-K.S. Ravikumar-Harris Jayaraj has been main highlighting attribute. It’s a crucial point for Nayanthara who has faced consecutive flops in her previous projects. Songs by Harris Jayaraj are middling and vigorous promotions have surmounted the anticipations.

Peranmai
– ‘Jeyam’ Ravi’s non-remake films haven’t been so commendable on his part. SP Jananathan’s unparalleled attempt over forest conservation has Ravi as protagonist. The 150mins trailer has marked some good impression. Couple of songs has been quite laudable.

BLUE:
The underwater-adventure thriller in Hindi will have a big opening with more screens in Chennai. Apart from big star-casts: Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan, A.R. Rahman’s musical factor has mounted on everyone’s hopes. The film will be released by PVR Group of Cinemas and will be premiered at Middle East International Film Festival.

All The Best:
If you were enthralled watching ‘Golmaal’, ‘Golmaal Returns’ and ‘Sunday’, get yourselves ready for yet another laughter-riot. ‘All The Best’ features Ajay Devgn, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse in lead roles. Rohit Shetty directs the film and Ajay Devgn himself produces the film.

Main Aur Mrs. Khanna:
Salman’s pitiable career graph has transcended with greater heights followed by his recent release ‘Wanted’. Much before the fever could get down; Sallu Bhai will get his other film ‘Main Aur Mrs. Khanna’ directed by Prem Soni. The film has Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.

Fine! These big tickets are gearing up festive release on Oct 16 & 17… So hold your breaths and start your countdown and keep logging to this column for the first exclusive reviews of all these flicks only cinefundas.com
