Hatrick Hero Shivaraj Kumar and Meera Jasmine starrer Devaru Kotta Thangi has already created a big buzz in distribution cirles. Despite the industry going through a recessionary phase with a number of films flopping, this sentimental film directed and produced by Sai Prakash is having lot of buying interest . There has been lot of inquiries from the prospective distributors, and Sai Prakash who is now giving a final shape for the film before its release is the most contacted man in the industry today.

The fact that Shivaraj Kumar’s previous film Bhagyada Balegaara directed by Sai Prakash has not done well in the Box office has not affected the business prospects of Devaru Kotta Thangi which is hitting the theatres on November 12.

Already the distribution rights of the film for Hyderabad Karnataka area has fetched a huge price and industry sources say it is bought by one of the well wishers of Shivaraj Kumar. The distributors all around are having a huge level of confidence on this film because of the super success of Sai Kumar directed Thavarige Baa Thangi and Anna Thangi which had Shivaraj Kumar in the lead. two future projects which have just completed their shooting parts. Another record breaking experiment titled as Sugreeva jas just finished the entire shooting part in eighteen hours precise on October 11.

There are many successful films like Thavarige Baa Thangi, Thavarina Siri and Anna Thangi featuring Shivaraj Kumar and directed by Sai Prakash which has the sister sentiment as the focal point. Sai Prakash is again using this successful element of sister sentiment in Devaru Kotta Thangi in which Meera Jasmine is playing the sister’s role. The second attractive point is that the climax sequence of the film which has been shot very well in the film. The graphics work of the film has cost the producers nearly Rs. 45 lacs, say industry sources.

Devaru Kotta Thangi is being released on November 12. November is considered as a lucky month for Shivaraj Kumar. Earlier his films like Tavarige Baa Thangi was released on November 1 many years ago and Anna Thangi was released on November 30.
