‘Political punch dialogues’ removed from ‘Vettaikaran’

November - 9 - 2009

vettaikaranFrom the day Sun Pictures acquired rights over ‘Vettaikaran’, Vijay seems to be going through lots of trouble. Earlier, the film’s release date was delayed since Sun Pictures wanted to promote the film at least a month prior to releasing it. And now, there’s something we hear straight from the shoulders of officials from Sun Pictures.

It seems that ‘Vettaikaran’ was screened for group of officials from Sun Pictures and they have expressed their views over curtailing political punch dialogues uttered by Vijay.

Now with Vijay busily shooting for his 50th film ‘Sura’, the actor has refused to reshoot those sequences and has indeed insisted AVM Productions to get back the film. However as the producers of AVM have failed to do so, Vijay is left with no options other than reshooting.
