Why Ramya was replaced by Amoolya?

Naanu Nanna Kanasu controversy is continuing even after Ramya was replaced by  young actress Amoolya now. The film’s  producer Shylaja Nag insists that  it was the decision of the film’s production unit that Ramya should be out of the project and  it would be  unfair to say anything against them because  Ramya had not shown any sort of commitment towards the project at any point of time.

“It was not only the issue of remuneration that we were dissatisfied here.   There were many things that we found in her that  was not suitable to our desire to make a  honest attempt.   Even during the day of the launch, Ramya was present only in the beginning and walked out without informing us.  Her unprofessionalsim was seen in every action related to this film.   We would not have selected her even if she had agreed to act with what we had thought of offering her as remuneration’ said  Shylaja Nag.

Shylaja Nag said that there were many people in the film industry and  among the journalist friends who had advised them against casting Ramya.  “But we thought that she would be fine with us if we behave professionally with her.  Unfortunately our perceptions were wrong and  Ramya was behaving with unprofessional manner forcing us to take this decision’ says Shylaja.

In contrast to Ramya, the replacement Amoolya is showing lot of commitment and interest in the project, said Shylaja.
