Finally, our very own Madras Mozart will be spotted on the screens performing a prominent role in the Hollywood film ‘Son of the Preacher’.  A.R. Rahman becomes an internationally acclaimed icon after winning couple of academy awards in 2009. As well, he got more offers in the west and fetched appreciations for his ‘Couples Retreat’.

Now, he has somehow accepted to take on the role of a music composer in this film ‘Son of the Preacher’ that is based on the life of Grammy winning singer-songwriter-producer PJ Morton. Music composers Kirk Franklin and Ruben Studdard are also sharing the screen space with Rahman.
