Now, we all know Aamir Khan has gone missing before the release of 3 Idiots and there is only one person who knows his whereabouts – his good buddy Sachin Tendulkar. The Master Blaster, who is also a neighbour of Aamir, has happily agreed to be part of the ‘Aamir Goes Missing’ campaign.
As per media reports, Aamir told Sachin that before he ‘disappears’, he will declare that Sachin will have the first clue about his whereabouts and the press can ask Sachin – ‘Where is Aamir?’ Confirming this to a tabloid, producer of ‘3 Idiots’, Vidhu Vinod Chopra says that Aamir and Sachin are indeed together to execute this marketing strategy. “Honestly, I don’t know where Aamir Khan is right now… He’s told his friend Sachin Tendulkar to give out a clue about his first location. Sachin is playing his confidante in this game which makes him the only actor in the world to go missing before his film’s releaseâ€, Chopra is quoted as saying.
However, the film’s leading lady, Kareena Kapoor, is quite clueless about the game Aamir is playing but knows that he has told Sachin about it. Aamir has also shot an ‘Aamir Goes Missing’ video with wife Kiran Rao in his own apartment.
Last, Aamir was spotted in the disguise of an old man wearing a muffler and traveling through an auto in the streets of Benaras.
The one who finds Aamir will get to spend New Year eve with him and his family.
