Would any filmmaker dare to release his medium-budget film amongst the big tickets like ‘Vettaikaran’ and James Cameron ‘Avatar’? If no one else, filmmaker Sakthivel has come up with this attempt of releasing his ‘Kandha Kottai’ along with these films.

Both ‘Avatar’ and ‘Vettaikaran’ are hitting screens on December 18 while AGS Entertainment has decided to release ‘Kandha Kottai’ on the following day (December 19). The film features Nakul and Poorna in lead roles with Santhanam taking care of comedy tracks.

Says Sakthivel: ‘It isn’t a matter of competing with big tickets. We have more confidence over our film. Since, it’s a season of Christmas holidays, the crowd would be literally more than other times…’

Let’s hope Sakthivel has his dreams fulfilled and we wish him all the success.
