Director Bala has finally found his heroine after a long hunt. It’s none other than Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalakshmi. She stepped upon the epitome of fame with her stage play ‘Mamma Mia’ and buzzes about pairing with Simbhu in ‘Poda Podi’.
The film was literally dropped due to unknown reasons and now she’ll be a part of Bala’s untitled film starring Aarya and Vishal in lead roles.
The film produced by Kalapathy S Agoram has director Viji penning dialogues (director of ‘Vellithirai’ and dialogue writer for ‘Mozhi’). It seems that Bala is trying to rope in A.R. Rahman to score music since he has universal fans.
The project will take off by last week of January and will be completed by July with plans being made to release it by July.
