Best Music Albums of Bollywood in 2009

The complete year of 2009 has been ruled by the academy award winner A.R. Rahman while Pritham made up for some good tunes and Himesh Reshammiya with laudable melodies.
1. Delhi-6: Ever experienced the extraordinary touch of Madras Mozart on various musical genres? A.R. Rahman extended his Midas-touch on Qawali, Rap, Hindustani and contemporary music. Be it ‘Masakkali’ or the mesmerizing ‘Maula’, it just mesmerized us.
2. Love Aaj Kal: Pritham couldn’t score better than this. Almost all the songs were awesome and they didn’t carry a single negative trait. These songs would remain evergreen forever.
3. Kaminey: On the dot, it was ‘Dan Da Daen’, which publicized the film with a greater magnitude. Vishal Bharadwaj did a blissful job with couple of melodies as well and the background music was brilliant.
4. Tum Mile: Pritham adds one more feather to his cap with catchy tunes. In the past his combination with Eemran Hashmi had worked magic in world of music and so is this film.
5. Radio: Of course, he isn’t a great actor, but a wonderful music director. The songs were released 3 months prior to film’s release and it yielded some good results in audio markets. Himesh Reshammiya had roped in some prominent singers, who embellished the album furthermore.
6. Blue: And again, we’ve A.R. Rahman striking with over-the-top tunes. Though the songs weren’t classy as Delhi-6, it suited well for the film’s theme. ‘Fiqraana’ was a stylish song with wonderful instrumentation.
7. 3 Idiots: ‘All is Well’ – an invigorating song made it all happen first. Shanthanu Moitra has composed some good tunes and Lyric writer Swanand Kirkire scored 5/5 on the touching lyrics on friendship and positive motivations.
