Followed by the grand success of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’, filmmaker Vikram Kumar had signed deal with producer Mohan Natarajan for ‘24’. This sci-fi thriller was supposed to have Vikram in lead role and Tollywood’s hottie Ileana was reported to have been roped in for female lead.

But, this morning it has been confirmed that Vikram Kumar will not wield megaphone for this film due to some indifferences. Producer Mohan Nataraj has invited Boopathy Pandian to direct Vikram with a different script, It’s worth mentioning that Boopathy Pandian recently walked out of Lingusamy’s production ‘Utthama Putthiran’ supposed to feature Simbhu in lead role.

Meanwhile, Vikram is busily shooting for Selvaraghavan’s untitled film and Manirathnam’s ‘Raavana’ simultaneously…
