Actress Nayanthara and Asin have been the top-charting actresses of South Indian Film industry before 3 years of time. Nonetheless, Asin’s foray into Bollywood and Nayanthara’s continuous flops had won lot of offers for new actresses. And now, the actresses are back in war as there seems to be a big contention for “Bodyguard’ remake.

Filmmaker Siddhique’s recent Malayalam release ‘Bodyguard’ has been regarded as the blockbuster. Apparently, Vijay and Siddhique have already signed for Tamil remake, which is being produced by R.B. Choudary of Super Good Films.

The latest buzzes are that Vijay has been recommending Asin to take on the female lead that was performed by Nayanthara in Malayalam version. Nonetheless, director Siddhique seems to be advocating Nayan as she did a marvelous job in the original version.

In all likelihood, the producers will finalize the lead actress within a week…
