KB, Balu Mahendra and Mani Ratnam for Bharathiraja

Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum will finally start rolling from November 17th, 2011. The film’s pooja will take place in Theni, the most favorite place for Bharathiraja, the director. He has said that the shooting will commence soon after the pooja.
According to the invitation from the ace director, directors K Balachander, Balu Mahendra and Mani Ratnam will be there at the inaugural pooja and start off the proceedings. Bharathiraja initially roped in Parthiban to play the lead role in Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum but Ameer has replaced him now. The film has three heroines – Karthiga, Iniya and Meenal.
Interestingly, Karthiga’s mother Radha was introduced to the film industry by Bharathiraja several years ago and she went on to become one of the top actresses in her times.
